GUIDELINES FOR COSMETIC TATTOOING

Before & After Care for Permanent Eyeliner Tattoo

To ensure your skin is in the best condition for a flawless procedure, please follow these important guidelines carefully.

Before Your Treatment
Do not wear mascara or eyelash extensions.

Avoid treatment if you are experiencing eye irritation or infection.
Remove contact lenses prior to the procedure.
Avoid working out on the day of your appointment — body heat expands pores.
Do not tan or expose your face to sunburn.
Avoid taking Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, Omega 3 or fish oil for 2 days before treatment (Paracetamol is acceptable).
Do not consume alcohol or caffeine 24 hours prior to your procedure.
Note: A topical anaesthetic will be applied to the lash line to minimise any discomfort during the treatment.

After Your Permanent Eyeliner Tattoo

Do not apply creams or ointments around the eyes during the healing process.
Avoid direct contact with water on the eyes for 7 days after treatment.
Do not wear makeup or mascara to prevent possible infection or allergic reaction.
You may gently cleanse around the eyes, but do not allow cleanser to touch the lash line.

Who Should Avoid Permanent Eyeliner Tattoo

Cosmetic tattooing treatments should be avoided by:

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
People with diabetes.
People with a history of keloid scarring.
Anyone with serious or unstable health conditions.

Please Note:
If you have recently had cosmetic injectables, please allow 2–4 weeks for the area to fully settle before undergoing a permanent eyeliner tattoo to ensure the best and most even results.
