 Before & After Care Guidelines

To ensure your lips are in the best condition for a perfect result, please follow these instructions carefully.

✅ Before Your Treatment

• Avoid working out on the day of the procedure (body heat expands pores).
• Do not tan or allow your face to become sunburned.
• Avoid Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen, Omega-3 or fish oil for 2 days prior (Paracetamol is fine).
• Do not consume alcohol or caffeine 24 hours before
• Note: A topical anaesthetic will be applied to minimise discomfort during the procedure.

 ✅ After Your Treatment

Days 1–2

• Gently wipe lips with a clean moistened cotton pad every few hours.
• Do not apply creams, ointments, or lip balm.

Days 3–7

• Continue wiping lips with a moistened cotton pad.
• Let them air-dry and apply a thin layer of moisturiser 3 times per day.

General Aftercare

• No makeup on the treated area for up to 7 days.
• Allow natural flaking — do not pick or peel.
• Avoid direct sun exposure on the lips.
• For the first 2 weeks after healing:
  • Use only clear/colourless lip balm.
  • Avoid dark lipsticks or tinted products.
• If you are prone to cold sores, your doctor may prescribe preventive medication such as Acyclovir.
  • Anti-inflammatory medication should only be taken if prescribed by your doctor.
