SCALP MICRO-PIGMENTATION AFTERCARE

To ensure the best results and longevity of your SMP treatment, please follow these aftercare guidelines carefully.
First 4 Days (Post-Treatment):

  • Do not wash your scalp.
  • Avoid sweating (no gym, sauna, or intense physical activity).
  • No touching, rubbing, or scratching the scalp.
  • Avoid sun exposure (wear a hat if needed).
  • Use a clean pillowcase and keep scalp dry and free of product.

Days 5–10:

  • You may gently rinse the scalp with cool water—no shampoo yet.
  • Light moisturiser may be applied if the scalp feels dry (fragrance-free, alcohol-free). • Still avoid direct sunlight, sweating, or swimming.
  • No shaving or cutting hair in the treated area

After 10 Days:

  • You may resume gentle shampooing with mild, sulfate-free products.
  • You may resume light workouts, but still avoid heavy sweating or sunburn.
  • Start using SPF 30+ if going outdoors – sun protection is essential for pigment longevity.
  • Avoid exfoliating or active skincare products on the scalp.

Long-Term Care Tips:

  • Always wear sunscreen or a hat when outdoors.
  • Use gentle, non-abrasive shampoo and moisturiser.
  • Avoid harsh hair products that contain alcohol or exfoliating acids.
